ChemVolt Global CEO Calls for a New Global Energy Order at SCO Trade Summit as Emerging Economies Reshape the Future of Energy Security

New Delhi: Mr. Kuldeep Gupta, CEO of ChemVolt Global, participated in the prestigious Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Trade Summit in New Delhi, joining senior diplomats, policymakers, and government representatives from India, China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, and other SCO member nations to discuss global trade, energy security, critical minerals, and economic cooperation.

During the summit, Mr. Gupta held high-level bilateral discussions on strengthening energy security, modernizing power infrastructure, securing critical mineral supply chains, and accelerating investment in next-generation energy systems to meet rapidly rising global electricity demand.

Addressing the summit, Mr. Gupta highlighted that energy security, critical minerals, artificial intelligence, and advanced manufacturing are emerging as the key drivers of future economic growth and geopolitical influence. He emphasized that the rapid expansion of AI, hyperscale data centres, electrified transportation, and industrial decarbonization requires resilient, sustainable, and future-ready energy infrastructure.

Mr. Gupta also noted that the SCO—representing nearly 40% of the world’s population—is becoming increasingly influential in global energy, manufacturing, and critical mineral supply chains. Discussions emphasized the strategic importance of lithium, rare earth elements, copper, nickel, and graphite across the SCO and CIS regions, which are essential for batteries, electric mobility, renewable energy, semiconductors, and advanced technologies.

The summit concluded with a shared vision of strengthening regional cooperation, diversifying supply chains, and promoting cross-border investment to build a resilient and sustainable global economy.

ChemVolt Global’s participation reflects its growing role in international energy dialogue and its commitment to collaborating with governments, financial institutions, and industry leaders to accelerate clean energy deployment, resilient infrastructure, and the global energy transition.
